About the Journal

The Insights–Journal of Life and Social Sciences (IJLSS) is an international, peer-reviewed, open-access scholarly journal published by Health and Research Insights. Established in January 2023, the journal provides a multidisciplinary platform for researchers, academics and professionals to publish original and methodologically sound research across the life and social sciences.

IJLSS promotes scholarship that examines biological systems, human behaviour, social structures, public health, environmental conditions and societal development. Particular consideration is given to research that addresses contemporary challenges, contributes to knowledge, supports evidence-based decision-making and has relevance for policy, professional practice or community development.

All submitted manuscripts undergo an initial editorial assessment to determine their relevance, originality, ethical compliance and conformity with the journal’s requirements. Manuscripts that meet the preliminary criteria are evaluated through a double-blind peer-review process, in which the identities of authors and reviewers are concealed from each other.

The journal is committed to maintaining appropriate standards of editorial independence, research integrity, transparency and publication ethics. Its editorial policies are informed by internationally accepted principles and frameworks, including:

Manuscript Assessment Criteria

Manuscripts submitted to IJLSS should demonstrate:

Manuscripts that fall outside the journal’s scope, lack sufficient methodological quality, contain unclear or unsupported conclusions, or do not meet ethical and reporting requirements may be declined during editorial screening.
